Rivercity Manufacturing & Machine Company, located in Winona, MN, opened its doors in 1989 in what used to be a livestock building on a small hobby farm. Though small at the time, we were able to offer machining services to a wide variety of industries with one thing in mind—always strive to deliver a top-quality product in a timely manner. Our customers have always come first and it is because of the strong, dependable relationships we have built with them that we have been able to grow and prosper over time.
What started as a part-time 2-man shop in 1989 evolved into a full-time 4-man shop by the mid-1990s. By that time, we were still focused on the manual operations such as milling, turning, grinding, welding, part finishing, etc.; however, we were also exploring the realm of CNC Machining to see how we could supplement our existing capabilities with new and more efficient methods of providing quality to our customers. In 1997, we added R & R Machining Company and partnered with them in order to add CNC Turning to our growing list of services.
While our companies have grown, our mission to provide quality has never waivered. From our small 800 square foot shop in 1989, we have now grown to a 10,000 square foot facility in which we offer all of the same services we did from day 1 to now include such advanced services as CNC Milling up to 4 axes, CNC Turning up to 5 axes with live tooling, waterjet cutting, heat treating, drafting, and much more. With our current capabilities and our staff of 15, we are able to handle the 1-piece orders along with producing the higher volume runs of 10 or 20 thousand and more. We have strived to become a one-stop shop for all your machining needs!
